Instructions for Use

instructions

I. Directions of Use:

A. As many artists have done for centuries, one extends their arm while viewing the desired

subject matter. The Artist Angle consists of two attached clear acrylic pieces which look like

short rulers with rounded & sanded ends. Please see "How to Start Using your Artist Angle"

for initial instructions on how to hold and open the two blades away from each other safely.

B. Set one blade to a relative vertical (for example), and line up the center of the object in the

center groove of the blade.

C. then rotate the second blade to line up w/ the middle of the second shape—alternatively, one

could use the blade's edge instead of the central grooves.

D. then this relationship between the two objects will be captured and held in position— because

the rivet —will not be so loose as to allow the blades to collapse together when the device is

then pulled in near the artist and placed over their sketch pad or canvas, or molding

material for a 3D sculpture — where the angle of an ar, a tree branch, or other relationship

can be achieved.

E. The artist sketching may place their pencil or charcoal vine stick within the middle groove—to

place marks to delineate the edges —or other relationship captured.

F. —Likewise, a painter may paint marks to define the relationship, also, within the middle and

distal ends slits of each blade.

G. The polycarbonate is resistant to discoloration and transparency changes from any cleaning

agent typically used for the mediums mentioned.

II. Care of Artist's Angle:

A) Cleaning agents which are safe to use on the Artist's Angle: soap & water,

sanitary hand wipes, rubbing alcohol and turpentine based products

B) After using any harsh agent, such as alcohol or turpentine-based products,— please wash the cleaning solution off with soap & water.

C) Dry the Artist Angle before storing the device Store and use the device

respectfully.

D). Avoid bending and placing extreme uneven pressure on the device.

E). The edges may be sharp in areas, so exercise caution in its care and use

to avoid injury.

III. This device is not to be given to children because of the risk of injury.
